Mumbai: Artisan jewellery brand Ritva has expanded its presence in Maharashtra with the opening of a new store on Gokhale Road in Thane. The approximately 400-square-foot outlet was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Amrita Rao, whose presence added glamour to the launch event.
The opening also drew several familiar faces from the entertainment industry, including Kishori Shahane, Ankita Prabhu Valavalkar, Rahul Roy and Shiv Thakare.
The new Ritva store combines elements of Indian heritage with contemporary jewellery aesthetics. Its collection spans traditional, festive and modern designs, offering options for everyday wear as well as weddings, festivals and special occasions.
A key feature of the brand is its SmartGold technology, which focuses on providing jewellery with a gold-like appearance and finish through a 50X thick gold-plated layer.
The Thane outlet marks another step in Ritva’s expansion across Maharashtra. The brand is positioning its stores as spaces where traditional Indian craftsmanship can be presented through modern designs suited to changing consumer preferences.
With Amrita Rao inaugurating the new outlet, the launch highlighted Ritva’s growing retail footprint and its effort to blend Indian artistic traditions with contemporary jewellery styling.
